Who Built the Pyramid

                Mike recognized that labor work is hard but he still goes to work.In the story "who built the pyramid'," he says he the dying breed. Every day he goes to the steel mill. At the steel mill he performs his daily task of lifting and putting down hard,heavy objects. He is tired and frustrated from the constant lifting putting down of heavy objects.he's not excited.He will not play around because he wants a break from the work. After a days work there is built up tension in mike.He wants to  release his frustration from working hard. when he was not married,he released his frustration after work by going to the tavern to drink.This frustration was released through fist fights that he picked with other patrons.Mike action shows that when he was single he was irresponsible about life. He did not care about the negative impact his actions had on both him and other people. He got pleasure from his behavior because it was away of releasing the tension that was built up in his body because of the work he was expose too.  being a single person, to mike it was not necessary to be working one place all the time.He moved from one job to another.Living from paycheck to paycheck.This goes to show that mike lacks money management and is clearly irresponsible.
         Things changed when mike got married. Now he has the responsibilities of a husband and a father.He knows that it is his duty to go to work everyday .There he is repeating the task of lifting and putting down hard heavy objects.He respects his supervisors because if they were any miss conduct he would loose his job. Even though he hates his job but also respects his supervisor. his job is important to him because he has a family to take care of. what mike would mostly want to change about his work is the fact that he is not recognized as a hard worker.For example, building a bridge,a house or a public building there must be a plague with the workers name and the job performed. For mike he feels that he's unrecognized because he has nothing to account for his work. Mike basically doesn't want his son to be like him. He wants his son to go to school and have a college degree.
